About

Established in 1996, Teltech provides installation and network support for the Waikato, King Country, Bay of Plentyand Thames/Coromandel regions from our Wickham Street, Hamilton, premises.

Major firms and businesses use Teltech to provide data and voice cabling support and solutions. So do independent customers and small businesses. We fit out or refurbish your buildings according to latest telecommunications specifications.

In conjunction with Transfield Services we build and maintain Telecom’s network, both over and under ground, and carry out residential work for Telecom customers.

Training at Teltech

Teltech team members know their stuff. Our linestaff and technicians are trained to national standards set by the Electrotechnology Industry Training Organisation (ETITO).

Two of our staff are work-based assessors, accredited by ETITO. Right now they are working with four apprentice trainees to achieve level 3 qualifications over the next two years. We are also aligned with Infratrain with whom 6 of our team are certified and another 4 are currently working to complete Civil Infrastructure certifications.

Only qualified and experienced tradesmen work solo on your network.

Teltech’s community involvement

As a proud member of the Hamilton community, Teltech is one of the sponsors of the Special Children’s Christmas Party held in Hamilton each year.

Teltech is also a proud sponsor of the Verdettes Netball Club. The club is one of Waikato’s top premier clubs and is based in Hamilton. It has a strong coaching structure that has produced many elite players at provincial, national and international level. The club has two current Silver Ferns in Joline Henry and Laura Langman and players from the top two teams – Verdettes 1 and Verdettes 2 – have represented Waikato at the National Provincial Championships. Verdettes develops and nurtures players to reach their potential and with top coaches, managers and a sound administration base the club continues to go from strength to strength.
